Few of the Favorite quotes of Geetha:

  1. Whenever dharma declines and the purpose of life is forgotten, I manifest myself on earth. I am born in every age to protect the good, to destroy evil, and to reestablish dharma.
  2. They are forever free who renounce all selfish desires and break away from the egocage of “I,” “me,” and “mine” to be united with the Lord. This is the supreme state. Attain to this, and pass from death to immortality.
  3. There are three gates to this self-destructive hell: lust, anger, and greed. Renounce these three.
  4. You have the right to work, but never to the fruit of work. You should never engage in action for the sake of reward, nor should you long for inaction.
  5. The process of offering is Brahman; that which is offered is Brahman. Brahman offers the sacrifice in the fire of Brahman. Brahman is attained by those who see Brahman in every action.
  6. Free from anger and selfish desire, unified in mind, those who follow the path of yoga and realize the Self are established forever in that supreme state.
  7. I am ever present to those who have realized me in every creature. Seeing all life as my manifestation, they are never separated from me.
  8. No one who does good work will ever come to a bad end, either here or in the world to come.
  9. I am easily attained by the person who always remembers me and is attached to nothing else. Such a person is a true yogi, Arjuna.
  10. I am the father and mother of this universe, and its grandfather too; I am its entire support. I am the sum of all knowledge, the purifier, the syllable Om; I am the sacred scriptures, the Rig, Yajur, and Sama Vedas.

Lakshmi sthothra parayana in Dhanur masa/Margashira maasa

Dharmaraja asks Sri Krishna to advise a way out to get peace and prosperity that brings Eshwara Kripa, Vamsha Vriddhi, Manas Shanti and removes Shatru-bhaya.

During Dhanurmasa, in Ushaat kaala(4.30 am to 6.30 am) to please the Lord Hari, perform Snana, Puja, Huggi Naivedya and Lakshmi Stotra Japa.

Once when Indraani (wife of Indra) was in difficult time, she obtained relief by this Japa and she became Nitya-Aishwarya-Sumangali.

In Tula Masa and in Dhanurmasa, , Lakshmi Stotra Japa (with madi) in early morning brings Lakshmi Kataaksha and paves the way for Nitya-Aishwarya. Aagneya Purana describes this as ‘Lakshmi Hridaya Stotram’.

One gets all kinds of prosperity in life if this Stotra is chanted daily under Bilva (or) Ashwatta tree after bath in Cauvery river in Usha-h Kaala in Thula-masa. If this Stotra is chanted 12 times, it brings immediate results, says Dharma Shastra.
