Uda-kumbha means giving drinking water with the pot(Copper/Brass)

This is a visesha dhana usually given during Summer months(Chaithra maasa and Vaishaka maasa)

Chant this mantra and give dhana 

Esha dharmaghato data brahma Vishnu shivathmakah
Asyapradhana thrupthyanthu pitharassa pithamaha
