Significance of panchamruta abhisheka

 

Dasaparadhao toyena kshirena kshamate Satao sahasrao kshamate dadhna , grutena kshamatesyutao.
Madhuna kshamate lakshao ikshuna dasalakshakao narikelaobuna kotio anantao gandhavarina.
Skanda purana

The above sloka is written as ugabhoga by Purandara Dasaru in Kannada as follows:
Aparadha hattakke abisheka udaka
Aparadha nurakke kshira harige
Aparadha sahasrakke halu mosaru kano
Aparadha lakkshakke jenu^^
Aparadha hattu; lakshakke balupari kshira ll

Aparadha kshamege accha tengina halu.
Aparadha kotige svaccha jala
Aparadha ananta kshamege gandhodaka.
Upamerahita namma purandara vithalage
Santa manavayya santavakya.||


Kshira snanao prakurvita ye nara mama murdhani
Satasvamedhajao punyao bioduna smrutao

Bhagavan says “The one who performs Ksheerabhisheka(Milk) on my head, For every drop he will get punya of 100’s of Ashwamedha yaaga”
