Significance:
Sri Vyasarajathirtharu [Vyasarayaru] used to meditate everyday on the banks of River Tungabhadra. One day, while he was meditating He visualized an Image of Lord Hanuman. This happened only at that particular place and nowhere else. So next time, he drew that image of Hanumaan on a rock. To his surprise, a monkey came to life from the rock and jumped out of the rock and his drawing disappeared. This happened 12 times. Every time a monkey would come alive, jump out and his drawing would disappear. Finally he drew a Yantra around the picture so that the monkey will not go out of the rock. Please see the featured Image. He bound the Lord Hanumaan inside the Yantra. Here the Lord Hanumaan is in sitting position inside the Yantra. This is the place where he wrote the famous Yanthroddharaka Hanuman sthothram.

This temple is located at Hampi, Karnataka. Just behind the Kodandarama Temple you can spot this shrine on top of the small hill.

ನಮಾಮಿ ದೂತಂ ರಾಮಸ್ಯ ಸುಖದಂ ಚ ಸುರದ್ರುಮಮ್
ಪೀನವೃತ್ತ ಮಹಾಬಾಹುಂ ಸರ್ವ ಶತೃ ನಿವಾರಣಂ ||೧||
ನಾನಾರತ್ನ ಸಮಾಯುಕ್ತಂ ಕುಂಡಲಾದಿ ವಿರಾಜಿತಮ್
ಸರ್ವದಾಭೀಷ್ಠದಾತರಾಂ ಸತಾಂ ವೈ ಧೃಢಮಾವಹೇ ||೨||

Benefits:
In the pala sthuthi it is mentioned, chanting this sloka three times a day with complete dedication and bhakthi for a period of six months, one’s wish will be fullfilled.

Also the Last phrase indicates, Never doubt on Lord sri Hari, The Master of universe, And he who doubts this eternal truth would go to hell for sure. Thus Vyasarajaru Emphasizes the concept of Hari Sarvothamah!!!

Namaskar Sri Vidya Guru Prasad, this is Jayathirth. I have been following your website for past couple of weeks. I have a doubt over one thing. My father advised me to recite Yanthrodharka Hanuman Stotra for good education and reasonable financial status. On one particular day itself, I recited 501 times for betterment of my education, and so far I have recited nearly 2500 times. Am still unable to get good marks. I don’t know why it isn’t working? Can please guide me.

Marks r not important for good future but blessing of Lord Hanuma. By chanting the Mantra you have already gained his grace which will not go waste. Wait for your good time. Have faith on Lord Hari. He lead you to have good future.

Namaskar Srividhya Madam. As, told by you, I did continue chanting Sri Yantrodharaka Hanuman Stotra. Lot of stuffs, have improved over the years. Myself in better financial position, and with respect to education, am just one step away from becoming a Chartered Accountant. Its been 5years and nine months, since i reached out to you. I have been chanting this mantra from last 6 years. Witnessing innumerable benefits. It really works. The best part is. when you include the mantra in your daily chanting, benefits keep coming continuously. One caution though, once you start chanting the Shloka, be aware of your wishes. maintain clean thoughts, clean mind.
Just “desire” does not work. The intention works.Desire is just wishing, (Ex. “I want this, i want that”) whereas intentions is make a Sankalpa or strong intention and then surrender the Sankalpa to divine, Lord Hanuman. . Then you just have chant 3 times everyday and relax. (.Ex. “I intend to have this by so and so date and i surrender this intention to Lord Hanuman”)
Dedication and devotion for Hanuman is primary requirement along with lots of patience. The devotion should be with lots of love for Hanuman, like dearest friend, , not of a fear based devotion. Develop lots of love for energy that embodies Lord Hanuman. .Things will fall in place.
Note: I have replaced last line with Shree Krishnarpanamastu, as I dont have any doubts in Lord Hanuman’s grace.
